Preferred Materials undergo advanced testing to ensure higher accuracy, reliable first-print success, and application-specific profiles with relevant certifications. These materials are sold directly by Stratasys. Validated and Open materials, while still compatible, may not go through the same level of testing and are not necessarily offered by Stratasys.
