2023 RIMA Exhibit and Show

Back by popular demand, the 2023 RIMA Exhibit and Show. Be part of the excitement at the Crowne Plaza on November 9th. There will be an exhibit, highlighting the incredible work ongoing in the State of Rhode Island within the manufacturing industry and its’ supporters.
There will be a buffet lunch with a Keynote Speaker and Panel Discussion. Paul Harrington, an economist from Rhode Island College, will discuss his study of human capital and labor market with specific emphasis on the GEAR UP program outcomes in the State of Rhode Island. More names and topics to be shared at a later time.

Also, 3 separate break-out sessions!

The first session is Olivia Byron from Department of Labor & Training, Alyssa Alvarado from Governor’s Workforce Board and Will Cox from CommerceRI. DLT/GWB will provide information on the many programs and services available to employers to assist with their hiring needs and offer insight on various programs such as Immersion Program. Will Cox from CommerceRI will explain programs to support the business community, including innovation grants, financing programs, and job and investment programs.

The second session is John Keniley from Strafford Ventures LLC to describe how to scale your business and drive accountability throughout your organization with the 5 Steps: Simplifying, Delegating, Predicting, Systemizing, and Structuring.
The third is Chris Cinieri from Polaris MEP to describe how Polaris managers can assist in the advancement of your operation. Also, Mary Fehlig of The Fehlig Group & Dept of Environmental Management regarding Sustainability. This is the next “ISO type” credential. The Fehlig Group working with DEM will assist in the implementation of the State’s Sustainability Credential. Learn more about sustainability and how this will improve your standing with your customers. If you are being asked NOW you will be soon.

Lastly, a cocktail reception with networking to close the show!
