Andrew Coutu is the CEO & founder of R&D Technologies. He is a graduate of The University of Rhode Island class of 1968 with a B.S. in Finance. Andrew was a drill sergeant in the United States Army Reserves from 1968-1976. He worked at Xerox Corporation from 1969-1982 and remained self employed after that, running companies that specialized in accounting software, CAD/CAM software and now 3D Printers. Andrew is married to his wife of 45 years, Betty and they have 3 children along with 5 grandchildren.

Justin Coutu is the President of R&D Technologies. He is responsible for implementing the company’s business plan, as well as managing operations, finance, sales, marketing, technical support and service bureau activities.

Chris Richter has been with R&D Technologies since 2006 as an Applications & Support Engineer, specializing in PolyJet and Fused Deposition Modeling 3D Printing systems. During his time at R&D Technologies, Chris was also a Certified SolidWorks Support Technician and specialized in training and support for SolidWorks CAD software. Chris is a graduate from Rhode Island College with a B.A. in Industrial Technology.

Shawn Reilly joined R&D Technologies as Operations Manager in January 2013, tasked with the oversight of all operational matters relating to production and prototyping services. Prior to joining R&D Shawn has served in an operational capacity for a number of tech startups, as well as several Fortune 500 organizations. Shawn is a 1988 graduate of Rhode Island College with a B.A. in Public Administration.

Matt Maloney has been with R&D Technologies since 2013 as an Applications Engineer/ Service Bureau Technician. Previously he had studied at the University of Cincinnati for Transportation Design, and has worked with the Hasbro Games division, and Kids II Bright Starts brand.

Nick Provenzano has been with R&D Technologies since 2013 as an Applications Engineer/Service Bureau Technician. His primary functions include running the 3D printers in house and produce prototypes for customers as well as providing advice on current builds or projects. Nick is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with an A.S. in Robotics Engineering Technology and a B.S. in Electronics Engineering.
Collin Mulvey has been with R&D Technologies since 2016 as an Applications Engineer/Service Bureau Technician. His primary functions include running the 3D printers in house and produce prototypes for customers as well as providing advice on current builds or projects. Collin is currently attending New England Tech for Mechanical Engineering.
