Topic: Add Part Configuration at Assembly       

When working in an assembly you can easily add a new configuration in a part of that assembly. If you right click on a fully resolved component there is “Add Configuration”.  This brings up the traditional “Add Configuration” dialog box, but it is for the part not the assembly. Once you input a name and click OK, not only does the part have a new configuration in it, that is now the active configuration at assembly level.
