R&D Technologies Weekly Tech Tip
Topic:
Filter Feature Tree
For those of us who have ever had a very long feature tree and
all you want to is find a particular feature, SolidWorks 2008
offers a new solution instead of just trying to scan for it with
your eyes. At the very top of the feature tree there is a little
area where you type in search criteria. SolidWorks will then
filter out what is displayed in the feature tree. When you’re
done there will appear a little X at the right of the
same area and your feature tree will go back to normal. Try this
out in both parts and assemblies!
