Official support of Microsoft Windows VISTA is now available with SolidWorks 2008 SP0.

New - Currently support for Windows VISTA x64 is planned with the release of SolidWorks 2008 SP 3.1.

Starting with SolidWorks 2008 SP3 EV the SolidWorks VISTA x64 Version will be Pre-Release.  The full production release of the SolidWorks VISTA x64 Version will be with the release of SolidWorks 2008 SP3.1 approximately 4 weeks after the full release of SolidWorks 2008 SP3.
